Matthew Dunn RSS

My Background:

I joined the Interboro faculty in September of 2005.  I found the faculty and staff at the district to be an accepting group of professionals dedicated to providing quality education for Interboro students. I am very happy to be at the high school and looking forward to developing the art of teaching hoping to become a valuable staff member.

I worked in industry spending many years as an accounting and technology specialist.  I implemented technology solutions while training staff members in various organizations throughout my career.  I was responsible for overseeing both computer operations and accounting functions. I also worked as an adjunct faculty member at a community college teaching technology classes.  I knew that one day I would work my way into a career as a fulltime teacher.  In May of 2008 I received a Masters in Technology Education from St. Joseph’s University in an effort to upgrade my skills as an educator.  I believe education is important to open new worlds to be shared with students, faculty and community members.  My goal is to be a good role model as well as a positive influence for my students.

My Goal:

Teach Interboro students to become self directed learners by assisting them in acquiring business and technical skills that will be necessary for success in the 21st century.
